Student Success, Inclusion & Belonging units, within Student Affairs, provide support for students to reach their personal, academic, and professional goals through curricular and co-curricular engagement opportunities. The work is rooted in the goal success for all students. Through inclusion, we create a sense of belonging for students and other members of the university community.

FYCARE Registration Open

The First Year Consent and Relationship Education (FYCARE) workshop is an interactive discussion on campus sexual assault. Participation is expected for all first-year undergraduates. This interactive workshop explores the dynamics of sexual violence, ways to support a survivor, understanding consent and campus and community resources. Exemptions are available for those who are concerned about potential triggers.

I-Connect Diversity & Inclusion Experience is an opportunity to reflect on our values and practice the skills that we need to learn, work, and live as global citizens in a diverse campus community. This workshop expected for all first-year undergraduates.

Student Success, Inclusion & Belonging is pleased to welcome Dr. Crasha Townsend as the new Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Success, Inclusion & Belonging. With more than 20 years of experience in higher education leadership, Dr. Townsend brings a strong record of advancing student success, fostering belonging, and building inclusive campus communities as she begins her role at Illinois.
